ISN Expo Offers Tools, Training

April 30, 2008
ISN again will host more than 200 manufacturers for this year’s show, themed “Building Your Business with ISN and Tool Dealer Expo.”

Integrated Supply Network’s 2008 Tool Dealer Expo, featuring tool and equipment vendors and training for independent mobile distributors, is set for June 27-28 in Orlando, Fla., at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

ISN again will host more than 200 manufacturers for this year’s show, themed “Building Your Business with ISN and Tool Dealer Expo.” Last year’s event saw an estimated 2,500 attendees between manufacturers and mobile dealers, and more are expected this year for the two days of new tools and equipment, training sessions and more.

Training sessions for the mobile dealers this year include sales seminars, product training, product demonstrations, business management software, business building and more. In addition to the tool and equipment booths, business supply exhibits will include finance companies, insurance suppliers and tool truck manufacturers.

“We feel a responsibility to provide education and business building tools to our customers,” said Scott Pilkenton, ISN vice president of marketing. “There will be numerous opportunities for distributors to learn about subjects, including: business software, how to source, sell and manage financing and leasing products, sales training, product education, web-based selling, creating and using customized flyers.

“We believe that by providing these kinds of training and educational opportunities, along with some of the best deals in the industry, we continue to set ourselves apart from the competition.”

One of the best reason’s to attend the expo for mobile jobbers are the special financing options and show-only special pricing that includes several “nuclear deals.”

During the course of the 2007 show, three vehicles with a total value of $75,000 were given away in raffles; a restored 1968 Ford Mustang, a new Ford F-150 and a Ford Edge. More vehicles are planned for giveaways this year, as well as a display of custom, show, race and exotic cars and motorcycles.

“I view the 2008 Tool Dealer Expo as a lifeline in a tough economy,” said John Snowden, ISN vice president of sales and operations. “Whether you are a distributor that has done business with ISN for years or you are a new distributor … Tool Dealer Expo will provide you the opportunity to see that there is a bright future ahead.”

Snowden said the expo offers independent mobile dealers an excellent chance to get advance exposure to new products along with the special show prices, as well as talk in-person with ISN associates, manufacturers, various experts and other jobbers.
