Mitsubishi Fuso announces new Diamond Value Parts Program

Commercial trucks program provides dealers with a source of quality replacement and service parts at a competitive price point.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) has developed a new repair and maintenance parts program for its medium-duty commercial trucks. Dubbed the Diamond Value Parts Program, its goal is to supply authorized dealers and service points with a line of parts that provides substantial quality while offering pricing that allows them to compete more effectively with aftermarket maintenance and repair operations.

All parts that are part of the program are intended for use after expiration of the FUSO warranty. Every product in the program has been vetted by Mitsubishi Fuso and each one offers quality and performance approved by MFTA. Total product lifetimes may be slightly shorter than those for Genuine Mitsubishi Fuso parts, but durability, performance and efficiency are nearly a match to the Genuine FUSO parts.

Len Doherty, Vice President, Parts Operations, at MFTA, states, "Even though we offer an industry-leading 5-year/175,000-mile (280,000-km) powertrain warranty, many FUSO owners keep their trucks well beyond expiration of our warranty. To help them keep their FUSO trucks in service even longer, we can now offer competitively priced maintenance and repair parts they can still trust, installed by factory-trained technicians. And our goal, as always, is to provide our customers with lower cost-of-ownership and the best owner experience possible."

The Diamond Value Parts Program will cover more than 25 maintenance and repair parts, including air, fuel and oil filters, belts, hoses, brake pads, and more.
