The ATEQ Quickset X TPMS Reset Tool, No. QUICKSETX, is designed to scan vehicles’ TPMS sensors and reset the system. The Quickset X is the successor to the well-known Quickset TPMS reset tool. The tool can be used for swapping summer/winter tires, resetting a TPMS system after programming new sensors, or after rotating tires. The procedure is straightforward; simply select the vehicle’s make, model, and year, then scan each sensor in the wheel. Once all sensors are scanned, plug in the OBD-II Quick Connector into the vehicle’s ECU and press OK.

Origin

The original Quickset tool was designed for swapping summer and winter tire sets. The improved Quickset X TPMS tool accomplishes this, plus additional features. Users can easily see all sensor information on one screen, which is now icon-based. External software is also not required, allowing technicians to quickly reset the TPMS system via the vehicle’s ECU for faster and more accurate service.

The Quickset X TPMS Reset Tool measures 4” wide by 7” high by 1.5” deep and weighs .7 lbs. It has a 4.2 rechargeable lithium polymer battery, 2.8” color LCD, and 315 and 433 MHz frequency antenna. It is made in China.
