The Lisle Corporation 4.5 Gallon Oval Drain Pans, Nos. 17972 and 17982, feature a larger catch area for easier fluid draining. The drain pans have a height of 6.25” to fit in tight spaces and their smooth pan design is easy to wipe out and clean. They also feature a 1.125" outer diameter spout for quick and easy pouring of used fluids into most jugs, as well as has an anti-splash lip to prevent spilling when carrying or pouring. They are made of high density polyethylene material that is resistant to chemicals and solvents. The drain pans come in two colors: 17972 is black for oil and 17982 is green for coolant.

Origin

The company designed the drain pans because the molds for their existing drain pans wore out and so they viewed this as an opportunity to improve the design. The company made some improvements and were able to keep the same size capacity (4.5 gallons), as well as the same price as their old drain pans.
