The Innovative Products of America 3" 3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheel, No. 8151, is designed for grinding, deburring, surface prepping, cutting sheet metal and fiberglass, and more. With three different cutting areas on each wheel, the 3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheel grinds, cuts, and undercuts, providing access and versatility for many applications. Through the use of a unique core bonding technology, the grinding wheel offers low sparks, odor, and debris. It is available in three sizes: 2”, 3”, and 4.5″. The grinding wheel is for 1/4″ and 3/8″ arbor die grinders.

Origin

IPA set out to make a grinding wheel that was strong, long lasting, and could be used from multiple angles, unlike standard grinding wheels that have one grinding surface, are made from various bonded materials, break apart, become smaller the longer they are used, and are prone to damage. IPA also designed the grinding wheel to save users time and expenses not only through durability, but also versatility.

Manufacturing/Engineering Specifications

The product is made of industrial diamonds brazed directly to the steel wheel core and does not use segments. It has diamond abrasives on three surfaces including the face, edge, and topside. It has a 3” diameter and 3/8” arbor with 1/4” shank adapter.

Storage and Display

The grinding wheel comes in a printed 3” by 3” box with a hang hole. It can be displayed on a shelf or hung on a rack. The box features a cutout to show the diamond grinding surface.
