Sales Tip: Create a fully-loaded diagnostic cart for demos

Dec. 5, 2018
Using a demo area for diagnostics on the truck creates interest and allows customers to find new accessories.

Consider designating a tool cart on the truck solely to diagnostic equipment in order to create interest in the tool category.

By creating a "fully-loaded" diagnostic cart, with the drawers full of related products and tooling, and a mounted monitor for product demos, customers on the truck know exactly where to look for their next purchase.

More than that, having related products within the drawers gives technicians the opportunity to "accessorize" themselves.

Information gathered from a training session presentation at the 2018 Matco Tool Show.
