Advance Auto Parts sponsors #92 in NASCAR race

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is sponsoring the Ricky Benton Racing Team in the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Advance Auto Parts, Inc., a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider in North America serving both professional installer and do-it-yourself customers, is sponsoring the Ricky Benton Racing Team in the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The series features 21 tracks and hosts 23 events in the U.S. and Canada. It begins in Daytona for the NextEra Energy Resources 250, with Parker Kligerman driving #92, a Roush Yates- powered Ford 150. The race aired on FOX Sports 1 (SF1) and the Motor Racing Network on Feb. 19.

In addition to Advance Auto Parts, the team is also sponsored by Valvoline, BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors and Goodyear Commercial Tire Network.

Cerro Gordo N.C.-based RBR Enterprises has been racing in numerous touring series throughout the Southeast for more than 25 years. Competing extensively in the USAR Pro Cup Series, winning a championship in 2002 and two rookie of the year crowns, the team has made forays into the ARCA Series and several NASCAR Touring Series.

In 2010, RBR joined the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, competing in eight races. Since then, the team has fielded a part-time entry, competing in a total of 54 races. To date, the team has a career best finish of 3rd in the 2011 NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona.
