The Auto Care Association today announced the addition of new product groups to its Demand Index tool on the TrendLens™ interactive data platform. The Demand Index tool enables subscribing automotive aftermarket manufacturers to know how their products are performing against the market. The Demand Index is the only tool in the auto care industry that provides hard part and other parts performance data from point of sales transactions.
The expansion of the Demand Index’s new product groups includes:
- Batteries (Automotive, Powersport, Lawn & Garden, HD, and Marine);
- Belt Tensioners and Idler Pulleys;
- Brake Boosters;
- CV Axles;
- Fluids (HDMO, Coolant & Antifreeze, Hydraulics, ATF, DEF);
- Master Cylinders; and
- Spark Plugs.
The turbulence of 2020 created uncertainty for everyone—including aftermarket businesses. The Auto Care Association’s Demand Index minimizes uncertainty and maximizes clarity for businesses by equipping them with the data they need to make informed decisions with confidence.
Visit the Demand Index webpage at autocare.org/demandindex to view the complete list of available product groups, hear what current Demand Index users are saying about the tool, schedule a product demo and more.
