Automotive Parts Headquarters, a St. Cloud, Minn., based aftermarket auto parts distributor, acquired Behrens Supply Co.
Behrens is an auto parts and industrial supply company based in Red Wing, Minn. Behrens' 12 employees and inventory will move into APH's existing Red Wing Auto Value parts store. The Beherns family will retain ownership of the building located in the downtown historic district.
“We’ve had a great relationship with the Behrens family for many years and we’re honored they’ve chosen APH to carry on their family’s legacy of service-oriented distribution,” stated Corey Bartlett, president and CEO of APH.
APH purchased Behrens’ Ellsworth and River Falls, Wis., store locations in 2011.The acquisition continues APH’s growth as it acquired United Auto Supply in 2014 (13 stores) and also acquired Hedahls (22 locations) in 2017.
APH operates more than 150 Auto Value parts stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan and Montana, and has more than 1,200 employees.
