The Automotive Distribution Network has promoted Sam Pennington to communications manager, overseeing digital promotional pieces within the group and all advertising to the public, according to Mike Lambert, president of the Network.

“As Network promotions and advertising continue to evolve with our WebShop® initiatives as well as our digital and social media efforts, this new role will enable Sam to most effectively utilize his IT skillset as well as his creativity,” Lambert said.

Pennington, who previously served the group as an IT administrator and marketing coordinator, will also be responsible for all print and digital communications distributed by Network headquarters. He will continue to manage the Network’s websites, trade magazine ads, and social media direction. He will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

"I am excited to take on this new and challenging role as this industry continues its transition to a digital media world,” Pennington said. “I’m looking forward to implementing and designing digital programs to further engage our members, increase our brand relevance to consumers, and ultimately, drive loyalty and sales.”

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
