The Automotive Distribution Network continues to expand its Parts Plus footprint on the West Coast with the signing of Allied Auto Stores in Fremont, Calif.

“Serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area from its new 46,000-square-foot, state-of- the-art warehouse, Allied Auto is a strong addition to the Network as a Parts Plus member,” said Mike Lambert, president of the Network. “Opened by Joe McDermott in 1973, Allied has since grown into one of the most successful parts distributors in the marketplace.”

Allied joined the Network under the Parts Plus banner to further enhance its level of service and enable its customers to more effectively compete, said Bill Bailey, president and CEO of Allied Auto Stores.

“Flying the Parts Plus flag will enable Allied to provide our installer and retail customers with professional programs and services that will give them an edge over other buying groups and retail chains,” said Bailey, who acquired the business from McDermott in May 2014 after starting with the WD as a delivery driver in 1977. “Combined with our excellent customer service, top-notch employees and one of the largest inventories in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Parts Plus program is a huge win for everyone. We plan to use every tool available in the Parts Plus playbook.”

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
