ANCO Expands Contour Coverage with Narrow Series Wipers

Jan. 1, 2020
Federal-Mogul’s ANCO Wipers brand has expanded its line of premium Contour profile-type (“beam”) wiper blades.

Federal-Mogul’s ANCO® Wipers brand has expanded its line of premium Contour® profile-type (“beam”) wiper blades to include coverage for the 19-millimeter bayonet and side-pin connections featured on several popular late-model European passenger applications. The new ANCO Contour “Narrow” (“N”) Series blades are available in nine lengths ranging from 14 to 26 inches.

ANCO Contour “N” Series blades are available for late-model Volkswagen Beetle, Jetta and Passat and several Audi models equipped with 19-mm bayonet connections, as well as BMW applications with 19-mm side-pin connections.

Contour wipers are engineered to provide premium, all-season performance and represent the latest technology in profile-type blades. The advanced one-piece design, featuring Articulated ContactTM Technology, helps prevent corrosion and freezing, while the original equipment-style directional spoiler prevents wind lift and provides superior blade-to-windshield contact for optimal visibility. Each Contour blade’s graphite and DuraKlear® Plus elements provide a streak-free wipe, offering the driver a clear view of the road ahead. Contour wipers also feature the ANCO brand’s exclusive KwikConnect® Installation System to provide quick and easy wiper blade replacement.

“As we enter the fall driving season, it will be important for millions of drivers to replace their worn wiper blades with leading technologies that can help provide a clear view of the road in all driving conditions,” said Mike McKee, global product director, ANCO Wipers. “The new Contour Narrow Series brings the unique benefits of premium Contour wipers to consumers who drive several popular late-model European models.”
