Interstate Batteries expands commercial services to metro Chicago

To better serve a five-state area in America’s heartland, Interstate PowerCare, a subsidiary of Interstate Batteries, has opened a 5,000-square foot warehouse and service center at 837 Fairway Drive in Bensenville, Ill.
With a reputation as the No. 1 auto replacement battery in North America, Interstate Batteries is also an established leader in power care products and services for the stationary and motive power markets. To better serve a five-state area in America’s heartland, Interstate PowerCare, a subsidiary of Interstate Batteries, has opened a 5,000-square foot warehouse and service center at 837 Fairway Drive in Bensenville, Ill.  The new facility will serve customers in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and parts of northwest Indiana.

 “The ability to provide our customers with fast and outrageously dependable service to solve their power problems is the focus of our decision to locate this facility in greater Chicago,” says Terry Cummings, Interstate PowerCare Director of Stationary Power.  “The facility allows us to immediate service to local power markets and decrease shipping cost for customers.”

Featured Interstate PowerCare services include EF&I, capacity testing, battery charging station evaluations, custom and standard preventative maintenance and equipment for the forklift, data center, telecommunications, petrochemical and industrial markets.

The Chicago-based PowerCare warehouse will also serve as the primary representative of Hawker products for the Chicago market.

Having already built a nationwide distribution system, Interstate Batteries has the know how to deliver power solutions anytime, anywhere through its PowerCare brand.
