DENSO shareholders approve new management structure

During a recent meeting of DENSO Corpration's shareholders, the group voted on a series of management changes. These changes, which follow on the heels of several retirements, were made immediately effective.

During a recent meeting of DENSO Corpration's shareholders, the group voted on a series of management changes. These changes, which follow on the heels of several retirements, were made immediately effective.

New Directors appointed to the board include:
- Koichi Fukaya, Vice Chairman (from President and CEO)
- Nobuaki Katoh, President and CEO (from Senior Managing Director)
- Hiromi Tokuda, Executive Vice President (from Senior Managing Director)
- Hikaru Sugi, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)
- Shinji Shirasaki, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)

New Managing Officers include:
- Yoshiki Sekiguchi, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Sales Planning Department)
- Hiroyuki Murayama, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Corporate ePF Department)
- Hitoshi Tasaka, Managing Officer (from General Manager of ITS Engineering Department 2)
- Koji Arima, Managing Officer (from President of DENSO Manufacturing Italia S.p.A.)
- Katsuhisa Shimokawa, Managing Officer (from Chief Planner of Powertrain Control Systems Business Planning Center)
- Tatsuya Toyoda, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Daian New Plant Project Department)

Board of Director and Managing Officer retirements include:
- Oyuki Ogawa (from Executive Vice President)
- Masatoshi Ano (from Senior Managing Director)
- Sakae Kitazawa (from Managing Officer)
