LOS ANGELES - Vortech Engineering has released new high-output supercharging system for the 2007-08 Chevy Silverado 5.3L Vortec V-8 truck.

The addition of the V-2 SQ S-Trim centrifugal supercharger configuration will increase horsepower up to 45 percent with a torque increase of up to 38 percent estimated at the flywheel.

The system includes an integrated dual-pass air/water charge cooling configuration, which features a closed loop water cooling system with a stand-alone pump, tank and front mounted heat exchanger. All components needed to bolt the system to a stock vehicle are included, such as aluminum mounting brackets, fuel system upgrades including high-flow fuel pump and replacement injectors, DiabloSport hand-held programmer, supercharger oil feed and drain, compressor bypass valve and all required fasteners.

A satin or polished finish is available, a three-year limited warranty on the supercharger and the system is compatible with factory OBD ll engine management. A 3-year/36,000 mile powertrain limited warranty is optional. Suggested retail price is $6,055.95.
