Origin

This was the first ALI lift that Atlas released. Atlas saw the market need for ALI-certified lifts, so they created this one, which is one of the safest lifts available. It was developed on a combo of industry demands, market trends, and the need to provide a product that was both reliable and cost-effective.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

The lift has a 10,000-lb capacity with an overall height of 11' and 7-7/8". The maximum lift height is  72-1/2", and with adapters, it is 81-1/2", with a minimum arm height of 4". Its shipping weight is 1,850 lbs. The Platinum PVL10 was engineered and built to offer a commercial grade above-ground lift to those customers who have "fallen in love" with the reliability offered by the double S column design and symmetric columns. Over the past two decades, tens of thousands of above-ground lifts incorporating the double S column design have been sold worldwide.

Storage and display

Shipped in a steel-framed crate for maximum protection, it arrives unassembled. Ships via freight shipping LTL and requires a forklift or loading dock.
