BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY's Over The Road allows digital inspections to be performed on the road. Over The Road, an extension of Mobile Manager Pro’s vehicle inspection program, was developed for mobile mechanics performing roadside assistance and maintenance on residential and fleet vehicles. Using a 4G connected tablet, locate a vehicle with online maps and, with direct two-way integration, generate an estimate in real-time right in the management system at the shop. Full access to vehicle history, recommendations and repair information are a few taps away. Decode and identify the tag or VIN with accuracy when working on a vehicle, old or new. The tool allows technicians to go paperless by using the tablet as a work order, perform a digital inspection and diagnosis with pictures and video and text estimates and inspections right from the vehicle’s side to the customer for a quicker turnaround and approval. Over The Road allows technicians to complete vehicle service and send the final invoice via text or email with all information immediately available in the management system back at the shop.
