    New from Carsoft is the latest upgrade to their Windows-based diagnostic system for German Cars, Carsoft MB7.4. This latest version provides service information covering Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and light trucks from 1988 to 2003, and all Freightliner/Dodge Sprinter vans. Capabilities include: Data stream capture. Module coding of powertrain, chassis, body, interior and entertainment systems, including those in the new E-Class and SL models. An additional module, the Carsoft Information System (CIS), offers instructions and wiring diagrams for newer systems, including coverage of engine management, CDI diesel systems, EGS electronic automatic transmissions, ESP traction systems, ABS/ASR braking systems and SRS airbag systems. A diagnostic system for BMW cars is also available, with coverage of 1988 to 2002 models. The Carsoft system comes complete with all the necessary cables, Windows-based software, a storage case, illustrated user's guide and telephone service support.
