Bosch's KTS 340 is a new diagnostic tool, specifically for the North American market, designed for quickly, efficiently and accurately diagnosing and servicing domestic, Asian and European vehicles in the United States and Canada. Among its features: easy vehicle identification; can be used out of the box, with Bosch's comprehensive ESI[tronic] software already installed and temporarily licensed and 12 months of updates included; and a module status that can provide a quick overview of the equipped systems and if a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is set (Quick Vehicle Health Check). Additionally, the KTS 340 can be used as a mobile device, can read and delete DTCs, has an embedded web browser, contains OBD controls for bi-directional tests and actuator testing and has special tests and functions, including brake bleeding or steering wheel angle reset.
