The Pico Technology Engine and Hydraulics Kit, available from Saelig Company, is designed for diagnosing problems on machinery and vehicles from an electrical and pressure-sensing viewpoint. The kit combines a PicoScope 4424 4-channel PC-based oscilloscope kit with PicoScope software and two hydraulic pressure transducers. The PicoScope software provides more than 150 built-in guided tests covering engine and electrical sensors, actuators and systems, according to the company. The kit makes real-time measurements of pressures up to 8,700 psi to enable technicians to view hydraulic performance not visible with conventional gauges.Â
