Black Series Infrared Refrigerant Leak Detector, No. 55600

The Mastercool Black Series Infrared Refrigerant Leak Detector, No. 55600, uses an infrared sensor to effectively identify halogenated gases. The ergonomic design and rugged construction provides refrigerant leak detection all while allowing the technician to easily adjust sensitivity to adapt to different environments. The unit detects the refrigerant by scanning the area in a slow target scan mode. Moving the sensor back and forth until the alarm sounds; the IR sensor zeroes out when held over a leak. The leak detector provides the same trigger conditions for all refrigerants, and features an auto-off function. Kit includes charging cable and replacement filters.
