The Palmer Wahl Instruments R60 Series Fixed Infrared Sensors use fiber optics for processes with tight installation spaces, electromagnetic interference, or ambient environments up to 392 degrees F without cooling. R60 models are available in spectral ranges of 1.0μm and 1.6μm, suitable for measuring temperatures up to 5432 degrees F. The single lens optical head collects the IR radiation from the source and transmits it through the flexible, fiber optic steel coated cable up to 100m long to the electronic module. This unit functions in environments up to 392 degrees F without supplemental cooling, making it ideal for installation in tight spots or where a water supply is unavailable. Available in five optics to best fit the installation requirements.
