The Power Probe PPDRAW Battery Adapter expands the functionality of the Power Probe PPDRAW Draw Monitor, giving technicians the ability to diagnose parasitic draw directly at the battery using alligator clamps. By converting the tool’s OBD-II connection to battery terminal access, it enables the same diagnostic workflow on vehicles and equipment without an OBD port. The adapter also allows technicians to safely disconnect the battery while the PPDRAW maintains system power and continuously monitors current draw. This helps prevent electronic resets and avoids interrupting the circuit, supporting a more efficient and controlled diagnostic process.
