Automotive Parts, Service Association of Illinois announces scholarship winners
Two students received $500 awards:
- Jesse Brian of Olney, Ill.: Southern Illinois
University, Carbondale, Ill.
- Ryan Hoelscher of Effingham, Ill.: Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Ill.
“We were very pleased with the interest in our scholarships and the number of applicants this year. We are pleased to assist these two outstanding students as they begin their education,” says APSA of Illinois Executive Vice President Suzanne McLean.
“The recipients selected by APSA of Illinois are representative of the candidates who applied through our online application site this year,” says Pete Kornafel, chairman of the GAAS Scholarship Selection Committee. “Through the support of APSA and other regional associations, and the generous donations to the GAAS scholarship fund, we are able to assist these students in their pursuit of automotive aftermarket careers.”
