2. Insert a T-handle with a four mm (5.32) drill-bit into the purge port to beak away any flashing and use a throttle plate cleaner or any sensor-safe solvent. Do not use brake clean. Spray through the port to clear any debris that may break away. After rotating the drill bit with the T handle several times, use the drill bit to loosen any separated flash debris from the port.
3. Using a mirror and light source through the intake manifold, re-inspect the purge port. If flash is still present, repeat step two until all flash is removed.
