Improving Jaguar Cold Start Performance

This bulletin applies to 2013 and later Jaguar XF and XJ vehicles equipped with a 3.0L gasoline engine.

This bulletin applies to 2013 and later Jaguar XF and XJ vehicles equipped with a 3.0L gasoline engine. The engine may require extended cranking or fail to start under cold ambient conditions (-4 degrees F and lower). This may be caused by high viscosity engine oil.

Jaguar recommends the use of Castrol EDGE Professional E 0W-20 oil to improve cold start performance.
