Accelerating Ford F-150 Cruise Control

April 19, 2023
Some Ford F-150 vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control may exhibit an unintended deceleration event while passing a large object such as a tractor-trailer.

Some 2015-2016 Ford F-150 vehicles built on or before Feb. 1, 2016 and 2019 F0150 vehicles built on Oct. 11, 2018 through November 15, 2018; and 2019 F-Super Duty trucks built Oct. 10, 2018 through Nov. 27, 2018 and equipped with adaptive cruise control may exhibit an unintended deceleration event while passing a large object such as a tractor-trailer.

Replace the front bumper trim panel on F-150 vehicles or the cruise control module (CCM) cover on F-Super Duty vehicles. It is not necessary to remove the CCM itself.
