This bulletin applies to all 2010-2018 GM fuel injected gasoline engine vehicles where a no-start or extended crank time and possible fuel pressure-related DTCs are present.
The possible cause may be incorrect installation of fuel line jumper hose during service work. Any of today’s fuel-injected gasoline engines use a short fuel line jumper from the fuel tank chassis line to the engine. Although most common on direct-injection engines, it is possible on certain model vehicles that this fuel line jumper hose can be installed incorrectly.
This makes it important to observe the direction of the fuel line jumper hose during installation to avoid a no-start condition or low fuel pressure condition. Many of these fuel jumper lines are equipped with a one-way check valve. Pay close attention to the orientation of the fuel line during removal.
