Are You Talking to Me?

This bulletin applies to 2009 Dodge Durango vehicles equipped with a 5.7L hybrid engine. DTC U0131 (lost communication with power steering control module) may be stored in the Hybrid Gateway Module (HGM). The DTC may be either stored or active.

This DTC may set due to communication issues between different modules. If this code is active, follow the diagnosis procedures available in DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT.

If the DTC is stored, clear the code and return the vehicle to the customer.

The code has been set due to communication issues within the module and no repair is required.
