This TSB applies to 2010 and 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles produced since July 2010. The right side shock absorber installation procedure has been changed.

The manual currently lists shock absorber assembly/installation as follows:

“Install the shock absorber assembly so that the coil spring end faces the rear of the vehicle.”

The updated change is as follows: “Install the shock absorber assembly (LH) so that the coil spring end faces the rear of the vehicle.  Install the shock absorber assembly (RH) so that the coil spring end faces the front of the vehicle.”
