This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Compass, Renegade and Cherokee vehicles built on or after Nov. 14, 2017, and on or before Jan. 2, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L Multiair engine, involving replacing the PCM due to a P2226 DTC (barometric pressure sensor code).

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Compass, Renegade and Cherokee vehicles built on or after Nov. 14, 2017, and on or before Jan. 2, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L Multiair engine, involving replacing the PCM due to a P2226 DTC (barometric pressure sensor code).

Customers may experience a MIL on and the vehicle may go into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor reading. Upon further investigation, the technician may find the DTC P2226 set. Replace the PCM.

Using a scan tool, clear all DTCs that may set while performing this procedure.
