Replacement VW rubber

Owners of 2010 VW Passat Wagons (built before May 2007) may complain about a noisy rear suspension. This may be due to noise created by a galvanized lower spring plate.

A rubber rear spring plate was released in May 2007 and should be installed to replace the earlier version.

Old plate: P/N 1K0512297C

New rubber plate: 1K0512297D
