The three-button remote engine start transmitter has superseded to a five-button remote (P/N MZ360361EX) for service parts.

When replacing a three-button remote with a five-button remote, you must follow programming instructions for the five-button transmitter, specific to the vehicle model. Programming instructions are included with the new remote, or you can refer to the Remote Engine Start Programming instructions on the MDL (service >> service tech resources >> Technical Worksheets).

Advise customers that some of the five-button features do not work on vehicles that were originally equipped with the three-button system. Also note that a three-button remote cannot be used on a new system that was designed for five-button remote.
