Confused Ford, muddled Mercury
Some 2011 Mercury Milan, Mercury Mariner, 2011-2012 Ford Fusion, Ford Escape and Mercury MKZ Hybrid vehicles may exhibit a “Service Engine Soon” illumination along with DTC P0016 (crankshaft/camshaft position correlation).
Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 78.04 and higher. Calibration files may be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
