Ford ABS recalibration
Some 2011-2013 Ford Explorers equipped with a 3.5L engine, AWD and built on or before 7-30-2012 may exhibit an inoperative Terrain Management.
- Reprogram the anti-lock brake module to the latest calibration using IDS release 80.02 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
- Perform Interactive Vehicle Dynamics (IVD) initialization using IDS. The IVD sequence (0.2 hours) includes time to clear codes after repair.
