Owners of 2011-2012 Jeep Libertys may complain about the rear door lock knobs shuddering, vibrating or rattling when actuating the power door locks or remote key fob.

This condition may occur intermittently during electronic actuation only and does not affect manual function or operation of the locking system.

  1. Remove both rear door panels.
  2. Apply Krytox lubrication (P/N 05019060AA) to the rubber grommets in the door modules on the side of the grommet that may come into contact with the link rod.
  3. Reinstall the door panels.
