Nov. 12, 2013
When adding engine oil to various Toyota vehicles, care must be taken to prevent damaging the oil fill baffle in the cylinder head cover. The baffle is designed only to deflect oil and should not be used to support the weight of oil fill devices. Rough treatment of the baffle can place unnecessary stress, resulting in baffle damage.
