Hyundai recommends using their Aerosol Cooler Flush, P/N 00232-19021.
NOTE: Wear safety glasses; use the aerosol flush only with adequate ventilation; avoid contact with eyes and skin; do not breathe vapors or spray mist.
Mark the hoses with tape or tags for reinstallation reference. Disconnect the oil cooler inlet and outlet hoses from the oil cooler tubes.
Insert the nozzle of the aerosol can to either hose and secure it with a hose clamp. Position the other hose so that it discharges into a waste container. Remove the protective cap. Hold the can upright and press firmly on the button to release the solution. Flush for 15-20 seconds until clear liquid exits the outlet hose.
Reverse the hoses and flush in the other direction until clear liquid exits the outlet hose. For best results, use the entire contents of the aerosol can. If clear liquid does not flow freely in both directions, the oil cooler is clogged and must be replaced.
When the flush has been expelled, turn the can upside down and blow any remaining liquid out of the cooler.
