Leaky, noisy Chrysler PS pump

Owners of 2008-2010 Chrysler Grand Caravan/Town and Country vehicles may experience leaks in the power steering return line at cold start-up temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and increased steering efforts or a noisy power steering pump.

Owners of 2008-2010 Chrysler Grand Caravan/Town and Country vehicles may experience leaks in the power steering return line at cold start-up temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and increased steering efforts or a noisy power steering pump.

The fix involves replacing the power steering gear to cooler return hose with a Kevlar braided return hose.

PARTS REQUIRED

68078994AA         LHD return hose

68078997AA         LHD return hose, 2.8L diesel

When replacing this hose, be sure to route the hose carefully between the power steering line, transmission oil cooler lines and the battery tray bolt, due to minimal clearances.
