New Aftermarket eForum returns to Chicago

Feb. 3, 2012
Forum scheduled for July, covers solutions to the technology challenges facing the vehicle aftermarket.

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) announced that a newly formatted Aftermarket eForum will return to the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill., July 16-18.

The eForum is the industry's only event focused exclusively on identifying the e-commerce and IT solutions and practices that will increase sales, add to the bottom line and separate winning businesses from the competition.

The Aftermarket eForum offers speakers, breakouts and workshops that appeal to IT executive decision-makers as well as developers and architects. eForum is chock full of content for manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, distributors, expeditors, service chains and anyone in the aftermarket who wants to understand what works today and what's coming tomorrow.

"Information technology can be an excellent source of differentiation in a competitive industry, such as the automotive aftermarket," said Scott Luckett, AAIA vice president, technology standards and chairman, eForum planning committee. "By helping businesspeople understand what is possible and why it benefits the business, they can have productive dialog with the e-commerce and systems people they rely upon to implement these technologies. eForum fills a critical need to educate decision-makers and practitioners about the latest developments and best practices in the world of information technology."

The format and content of the Aftermarket eForum™ is completely updated and modernized for 2012. Attendees will experience the latest mobile technology and applications of social media before, during and after the conference. Vendor exhibitors will be available to showcase and demonstrate the latest products and solutions that set your business apart. And, technical breakout sessions will provide the detailed essentials of capitalizing on web services, cloud computing and more.

Save the dates, July 16-18, and plan to be in Chicago for the year's critical gathering of the aftermarket around information technology. Registration will be available online shortly. Exhibitor applications are now being accepted.

For more information or to register as an exhibitor call 240-333-1068 or e-mail [email protected].
