Certain Jeep Compass and Patriot Vehicles Are Under Recall

Certain 2016 Jeep Compass and Patriot vehicles equipped with a 2.0L or 2.4L engine and built from May 8-July 12, 2016 are being recalled due to an improperly manufactured crankshaft and/or camshaft sensor electrical connector.

A faulty sensor connection could result in an intermittent connection, with a no-start or stall while driving issue. The crankshaft and camshaft sensor electrical connector and terminals must be replaced on all involved Jeep Compass and Patriot vehicles.
