LoJack Corporation, a provider of vehicle theft recovery and advanced fleet management solutions, announced the seamless integration of Intuit QuickBase with the LoJack Fleet Management Powered by TomTom platform. The integration will provide LoJack customers with new capabilities that empower businesses to create customized applications and solutions to improve efficiencies and identify new areas for improvement.

Customers will be able to automatically leverage LoJack Fleet Management vehicle data via APIs when creating applications in QuickBase, a cloud-based application development platform. This integration can help businesses optimize and gain better control over revenue streams. Leads can flow to closed deals, over to the project management system and then seamlessly into LoJack Fleet Management, dispatching drivers to fulfill orders. When the job is complete, proof of service can flow back from the field, directly into the system confirming a job well done. The integration of fleet data into essential business processes can empower LoJack Fleet Management customers to derive business enhancing insights then measure and optimize operations against key metrics.

“We look forward to delivering powerful new business driving tools and functionalities that empower LoJack’s continuously growing fleet customer base,” said Randy Ortiz, president and CEO of LoJack Corporation. “Integrating with Intuit QuickBase provides our customers with access to the right business tools, data and insights to improve efficiencies. This will also help customers streamline operations so they can focus on the things that matter most to them, like building their business and providing exceptional customer service.”

“We’re excited to bring a new set of capabilities to LoJack’s fleet customers through the integration of LoJack’s Fleet Management solution, powered by TomTom, with the QuickBase platform,” said Dave Beaver, partner and alliances head from Intuit QuickBase. “We pride ourselves on QuickBase being easy-to-use while providing businesses with the ability to quickly deploy customized, robust applications. We look forward to helping LoJack empower their customers with these new business management tools.”

LoJack’s Fleet Management solution provides businesses with advanced management tools, including a customized interface for both fleet managers and vehicle operators. LoJack’s Fleet Management solution uses TomTom PRO driver terminals that are designed to help measure driver behavior, such as idling and sudden decelerations, and improve safety and fuel efficiency. The solution also provides preventative maintenance alerts that assist businesses in managing various and regular vehicle maintenance needs.

LoJack will be demonstrating the new integration at the upcoming Field Service USA taking place in Palm Springs, California from April 20 to 23.
