Topics include fluid flushing, direct injection, managing sales people and more.

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Learning Forum will highlight the latest technology that is critical for today's automotive repair shop and for automotive instructors who are grooming the next generation of automotive technicians and employees. AAPEX is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, Nev.

As part of the AAPEX Learning Forum, the following eight sessions will cover either new technology or the management skills necessary to ensure that repair shop staffs are ready for today's and tomorrow's challenges:

• Direct Injection Technology Update*

• Wallet Flushing?

• Salespeople are from Venus: Installers are From Mars

• New Exhaust Technologies Including the New Clean Diesel*

• Wiring Diagram Color Coding: A Tool for Understanding Electrical Circuits*

• Four Cornerstones of Service Operation Success

• TPMS Smart Maintenance and Repair*

• Secrets to Auto Repair Shop Success

Automotive instructors who attend the five technical sessions (*) will receive an added bonus as these sessions are accredited for National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) credit hours. Certificates will be distributed at the conclusion of the session.

This year's Learning Forum will feature nearly 40 free sessions, the highest number ever offered at AAPEX. Sessions will begin on Monday, Nov. 4 – the day before the official start of AAPEX – and continue through Nov. 7. Attendees are encouraged to make their travel plans accordingly.

All sessions are accredited by the University of the Aftermarket toward the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) professional designations. Sessions will be held at the Venetian Hotel, on the Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center Level 1, Marco Polo Rooms 701-707. Since the sessions are free-of-charge, seating is first come, first served.
