Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton has added a Spanish speaking virtual spokesperson to assist current and prospective customers with a wealth of information on the company’s lineup of UltraShift PLUS automated transmissions. His name is Jose Santos and like his English language counterpart -- Brian Fletcher -- provides personalized and tailored information at www.ultrashiftplus.com.

At the site, Eaton provides detailed information on the features, benefits and applications of its newest generation of automated transmissions. The information can easily be customized based on viewer inputs, which will be uniquely tailored to their specific commercial truck application – be it line haul, vocational or severe service.

"We recognize the importance of having language options for current and potential customers, and adding Spanish is the next evolution of our digital strategy," said Dave Karnes, director, Roadranger field sales and marketing -- North American truck business. "Spanish language visitors to our site will now receive the same personalized UltraShift PLUS presentation that is currently facilitated in English."

Karnes noted that in the coming months Eaton will add a third virtual presenter who is being developed to support the French speaking community.

Through July, Eaton has presented personalized information via the Brian Fletcher experience to more than 16,000 people with an average viewing time of more than five minutes. Additional data shows that 10 percent of viewers spend more than more than 19 minutes interacting with Brian.

"The unsolicited feedback that we have received from our customers on this program has been overwhelmingly positive," said Karnes. "This whole process has opened our eyes to the importance and opportunities surrounding the rapid advancements associated with the integration of marketing related technologies."
