Truck pull in Boston to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Humboldt Storage and Moving, the oldestmoving company in Boston, is kicking off the registration for their second annual Truck Pull to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts. All types of teams are invited to participate but the event is limited to the first 30 teams. Registration is encouraged now.

The Truck Pull will be held on September 21 on the campus of Boston College. The event will start at 10:00 am. Teams of 10 individuals will get the chance to pull a full sized moving van, box truck and one of the famous Duck Boats from Boston Duck Tours. Registration is open for the first 30 teams so people are encouraged to enter a team on the Humboldt Truck Pull website at: www.humboldttruckpull.com

Last year, other moving companies in Boston as well as teams of police, fitness enthusiasts and other corporate teams participated in the first year event, raising over $13,000 for the health and sports programs of Special Olympics Massachusetts.

A minimum entry fee of $1,000 for a team of 10 individuals gets that team a spot at the event and the chance to pull the trucks including the Duck Boat. Lunch, beverages and an event t-shirt are all included.

How it works: All teams of 10 will have to pull all three vehicles which consist of a moving van, Duck Boat and a box style delivery truck. The team will need to pull all three trucks as fast as they can for 25' and the cumulative total with the lowest combined time will win the event.

Registration is open but limited to the first 30 teams. Those interested are encouraged to act soon and sign up for the Humboldt Truck Pull at: www.humboldttruckpull.com
