NAFA's FleetED website gets redsigned

Dec. 8, 2012
Website designed for greater ease of use, improved fleet research.

Throughout the fleet management industry, NAFA is known for education. The Association offers educational seminars throughout the year and provides more than 60 different sessions during its annual Institute & Expo. NAFA's Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program is the standard of excellence for fleet management education. In addition, the Association has built a comprehensive library of educational tools over the years, which is housed at www.fleeted.org. With FleetED's new redesign, the website is focused on making it easier for fleet managers to get the information they need the most and is poised to take fleet education to yet another level.

The new FleetED.org brings fleet webinars, benchmarking data, white papers, sample tools, NAFA publication articles, and NAFA products to the forefront in a stylish, new look that is easy to use. The website offers all of the same resources and tools as before, but runs more like a search engine. In addition, categories have been redistributed to put the focus on those which are used the most and have been divided to be more specific, making it much easier for fleet managers to find the information they need.

"The new FleetED website offers fleet managers the tools they need to succeed at their job," said NAFA Executive Director Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "Fleet managers can view benchmarking data to see how their fleet matches up to similar fleets and learn new ways to provide cost-savings to their organization. They can quickly utilize sample templates to help with such day-to-day procedures as organizational policies and Request For Proposals. And they can read hundreds of articles on fleet-related topics produced by NAFA and across the entire industry.

"If a fleet manager has a question about anything related to fleet," continued Russo. "They'll find the answer at FleetEd."

NAFA Members can take full advantage of FleetED's resources, including downloading and sharing information with colleagues through email and social networks, accessing presentations and archived webinars, and even personalizing the website by placing their favorite resources on a customized page.

"FleetED has long been the premier online source for fleet management education," said Russo. "With these new improvements, FleetED will remain the premier source for many years to come!"
