The Auto Body Repair Network (ABRN), Automotive Training Institute (ATI), and Automotive Management Institute (AMi) announced that they are collaborating to provide a webinar series geared toward improving the success of collision shop owners. The series kicked this week with the first one-hour webinar, “Protecting the Collision Repair Shop Interest in the Ever-Changing Repair Environment.”
“This project came out of AMi’s Alternate Methods of Learning Project which is an ongoing program to provide new ways to confirm intended learning from various informational methods provided by our industry partners,” says Jeff Peevy, President of AMi.
ATI’s coach Manich has over 34 years in the collision repair industry working as a technician, painter, and shop manager in small and large shops. He has traveled internationally as a senior manager for one of the largest collision research companies in the U.S. as well as working as the technical director for MSO groups. He is a former I-CAR instructor and has extensive knowledge in the financial and lean production areas.
The first webinar, “Protecting the Collision Repair Shop Interest in the Ever-Changing Repair Environment” covers the new complexities of repair, documentation, negotiation and tracking each step of the collision repair process.
Keith says, “Future webinars will cover production basics, developing and implementing standard operating procedures and the ABCs of developing and implementing processes. I’ll include constructing the SOP and how to introduce it to the staff, measure performance and provide feedback.” The series will also cover how to build a meaningful and productive apprentice program.
To subscribe to the ABRN and gain access to the webinar series, the cost is $29.95 for 90-day access and $39.95 for one year. For more information and to register visit:
