Systems offer speed, accuracy, reliability and automated operation

Bosch’s new ACS 620 and ACS 625 Digital A/C Refrigerant Handling Systems are fully automated, accurate and user-friendly, and are fully compliant with the J2788 standard. Featuring a swivel control turret housing with an LCD display and easy-to read gauges, the new R134a refrigerant recovery/recycle/recharge systems are equipped with a large 6 CFM vacuum pump, an easy-access refrigerant filter for quick maintenance and patented manifold assembly that increases machine uptime – and therefore shop revenue.

“Bosch’s new ACS 620 and ACS 625 refrigerant recovery machines provide exceptional capability to efficiently service the smaller A/C systems found in today’s vehicles. These durable, long-lasting machines offer today’s shop the opportunity to service their customers’ air conditioning systems quickly and with precision while at the same time reducing comebacks due to improper refrigerant charge amounts,“ said Tim Stumpff, Product Manager for Bosch Diagnostics Business Unit.

Both models are compatible with TechALERT, a patented wireless technician paging system designed to increase shop productivity by providing operating status updates to the technician while they are working on another vehicle elsewhere in the shop. When equipped with this option, the TechALERT sends a wireless signal to a synced remote receiver that the technician carries. The operation status is provided via a series of visual, audible and vibrating alerts to the technician – eliminating the need to run back and forth across the shop to check on the status of the machine.

Both the ACS 620 and ACS 625 units offer:

  • SAE J2788 certified
  • 6 CFM, dual stage vacuum pump
  • Revolving turret allows 180 degree visibility of gauges
  • Foam filled tires do not go flat and aid in scale accuracy
  • Easy-access refrigerant filter change through the removable side pocket
  • In-line filters offer a first line of defense against contaminants
  • Fully automated service process
  • USB port accommodates optional database, allows software upgrades
  • Optional TechALERT wireless technician notification to increase shop efficiency
  • Optional integrated printer (standard on ACS 625) to provide customers with a printout of the service
  • Optional integrated refrigerant identifier protects shop employees and the equipment from possible contaminated R134a
  • Optional vehicle refrigerant and oil capacity database to help reduce comebacks Hose evacuation
  • Password protection and the ability to assign technician operator numbers
  • Vehicle VIN entry
  • Rigid steel base, aircraft quality wiring
  • Unsurpassed speed, accuracy and reliability, backed by a 2 year warranty

Built for Productivity

“The new ACS 620 offers unsurpassed efficiency and ease-of-use to maximize productivity – plus customized solutions to fit the shop’s needs. Available options include an integrated printer, integrated refrigerant identifier, vehicle refrigerant / oil-charge database, as well as the TechALERT wireless technician notification system - allowing the shop to design its own machine,” Stumpff said.

The ACS 625 leads the way in advanced technology and offers the shop additional features designed to tackle the toughest air conditioning system jobs, including:

  • Three temperature probes standard – on-board ambient temperature and humidity measurement (temperature and humidity are the factors that affect a/c performance the most)
  • Dual vacuum process - which allows a deeper vacuum to be pulled in the "enhanced" mode
  • Integrated micron vacuum sensor for precision vacuum level measurement
  • High-voltage (hybrid) compatibility (because hybrids must be injected with oil manually from an external oil injection assembly to avoid cross-contamination of oils, the ACS 625 does not have an oil injection bottle. The ACS 625 also includes an A/C service hose flush to avoid cross-contamination of oils)
  • Standard integrated printer provides customer printout of service
  • High pressure leak detection function
  • A vacuum pump oil life test feature
