Houston-area vehicle inspection station allegedly conducting fradulent inspections

Two vehicles and an emission analyzer were taken as evidence in the case.

Last week, a local emissions task force issued an arrest and search warrant for S & P Auto Repair, in Houston, Texas.

Employees at the state-licensed vehicle inspection station have been allegedly completing a number of fraudulent vehicle inspections via process called "clean scanning." Two suspects were arrested, each charged with two counts of second degree felony tampering with a government record. 

Two vehicles and an emission analyzer were taken from the premises as evidence.
