Q: How did the tool/equipment function as far as saving you time?

A: The tool increased the overall profitability of the business by making sure I don’t have to go outside to get natural lighting and by allowing me to see primer or color changes in blends and panel paint.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: The typical setup for lighting was hanging lights on both sides and using a sun gun.

Q: How easy was it to use?

A: Pretty easy to use. Just unbox, clip on, and bend the handle.

Q: Was there a manual included?

A: There is a manual that comes with the packaging explaining the different modes of lights and other general information. Pretty easy read and easy tool overall.

Q: Were any accessories included?

A: No accessories were given with this product.

Editor's note: Along with the light, the tool includes a USB-C charging cord and five replacement lens covers. The lens covers can also be purchased separately.

Q: What features did you like?

A: My favorite feature was mostly using the light on several different options to see how each affected the color and overall finish. The fact that I could put it on and take it off easily and that it didn’t weigh much improved the overall usage.

Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?

A: I think if the battery life lasted a little longer, it would improve the experience.

Q: What types of jobs did you use this tool for?

A: I used this tool to complete a few different cars. First was a white tailgate and hood on an F-350 truck. I also used it on a bumper fender blend on a Mercedes C-300 and a few more paint jobs, and I'm still using it now.

Q: Have you used a previous version of this tool?

A: I previously used a Braun sun gun. It's pretty comparable except for the weight difference and how it attaches to the gun, since holding one by hand gets annoying after so long. The SABER has more lighting variants as well.

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A: I would give this product a solid nine. Its practicality for day-to-day usage is high as it’s lightweight, and several light options help stray from error while painting. It is a solid tool with everyday functionality and one of the best tools I’ve used — comparable to its counterparts in usability and price.
